The Nervous System

The brain and spinal cord together make up the central nervous system. The nervous system is essentially a biological information highway, and is responsible for controlling all the biological processes and movement in the body, and can also receive information and interpret it via electrical signals which are used in this nervous system. Thirty-one pairs of spinal nerves originate from the spinal cord. They are all mixed nerves, and they provide a two-way communication system between the spinal cord and parts of the arms, legs, neck and trunk of the body. When nerve damage occurs either from a fall, car accident or sports injury, Fliss Laser and Chiropractic can restore damaged nerves and help you regain your quality of life without painful surgeries and costly medications.
